Budget-Friendly Breakfast For Professionals On-the-Go

Breakfast. Do you know where the word comes from? It means that we’re “breaking” the “fasting” we were doing while we were sleeping. If we don’t break our fast, where’s all our morning energy going to come from?

Hopefully, these budget-friendly breakfast ideas will motivate you to start each day with a bit of delicious energy!

(Don’t worry, we won’t include oatmeal. We realize that literally every food blogger, ever, has recommended oatmeal for breakfast.)

How much does a budget-friendly meal cost?

Since entire books are written on exactly this topic, we’re going to set some guidelines to keep it simple:

  1. Every meal must cost less than $1 per serving
Yep, that’s a dollar per person.
  2. Each meal has to take less than 30 minutes to cook.
    Because time is money.
  3. We can’t meet every dietary restriction, but we can create a key!
